Grandfather of Buenos Aires

"Miguel, do not know why I started thinking about it," begins the elegy dedicated to the leader Andrés Calamaro Los Abuelos de la Nada. But I know why I started thinking about Miguel Abuelo: last Thursday I attended the premiere of a wonderful and moving documentary about his life and his work, Good day, day of directors Sergio Constantino and Eduardo Pinto.
I have not been the only spectator who, in addition to laughing at some accounts, ended up physically moved. Among many merits, the film has two especially noteworthy: to rescue a founding figure of popular music in Argentina and having solved the riddle of how to narrate, a difficulty that is presented both in the personal and artistic. Miguel Abuelo, as repeated in each of his letters, was unattainable, but has spent a year in jail in Spain, as I discovered thanks to the documentary. But even at that season in the "prison of currencies" (take the name of another letter Calamaro), Grandfather of Nothing managed to receive a free pair sandal steeped in history, and recalls his biographer, Juan Carmona. In the thread of the biography plays an effective role and charming his son, Blue Cat, which runs on a motorcycle Buenos Aires, joining collecting stories and photos. Jack's mother, the artist Krisha Bogdan, displays elegance and truth in his story.
Miguel Angel Peralta, the birth name as the author of "my things", is one of those architects who built in Buenos Aires buildings but no times, and whose raw material was freedom. So far the first day I heard and saw him dance, his memory is still gleaming and talent, boring time. It's one of those people I had ever invited to my birthday. But of course, would not have cared: he was always the birthday child, and carried a portable party.
